Working in Lisbon
Lisbon is not one city. Alfama, Graça and Bairro Alto have streets where a large van does not fit, and 19th-century buildings without a lift, where everything comes down the stairs. Parque das Nações and Alvalade are the opposite: wide access and loading spaces at the door.
Much of the centre is EMEL paid parking. In Chiado, Baixa, Bairro Alto and Alfama a loading space should be booked in advance — without it the van parks far away and the job takes twice as long. Mention it in your request.

Questions
- Do you speak English?
- Yes. Write to us on WhatsApp in English and we reply in English. The online quote form is in Portuguese, so WhatsApp is the easiest way.
- How much does it cost to remove a sofa in Lisbon?
- A single piece such as a sofa, a bed or a wardrobe is usually within €40–120 + VAT, depending on size, floor, lift and dismantling. The exact price comes in the quotes, fixed before work starts.
- Do you take construction rubble?
- Yes — in 25–30 kg bags, carried out by hand, with no skip on the street. From €120/m³ + VAT.
- Is there a free council collection?
- Lisbon City Council collects bulky household items free of charge. You book it through Na Minha Rua LX, on 800 910 211 (free call) or at your parish council; the day, time and spot are agreed with the Council, and carrying the items to that spot is up to you. A paid collection makes sense when you need a set date, or the items carried out of the flat rather than from the pavement.
- Do I get an invoice?
- Yes. Every job comes with an invoice, issued by Miragem Dourada, CLYON's partner company, and the prices in the quotes already include VAT.
